Children with Special Needs: The YMCA is committed to the philosophy of inclusion. If your child requires support due to special needs, please check off the appropriate box on the registration form, complete our Supplementary Form, and submit it with the registration. To assess your child’s specific needs, our staff will meet with you at our facility or your home prior to the summer. Spaces are limited, so apply early to ensure a spot! Please note:Registrants with special needs must register in the branch, not online, to ensure availability and support.
Payment Information: A $30/camper/week non-refundable deposit is required for registrations. The non-refundable deposit and all subsequent payments must accompany registration.
Extended Payment Option: An extended payment plan can be setup by completing the appropriate section on the registration form or during online registration. All extended payment plans require all deposits ($30/camper/week) to be paid in full at the time of registration and a method of payment to schedule the remaining balance to, either by VISA, MasterCard or VOID cheque. The remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month prior to the camp session
registered for (all July camp payments due on June 1st/all August camp payments due on July 1st). All registrations submitted after those payment deadlines must be paid in full at time of registration.
NSF Payments: All NSF payments will be subject to a $30 service charge.
Cancellations & Refunds: All cancellations must go directly through the Customer Service Supervisor and all refunds must be approved by the Day Camp Administrator. Cancellations received seven (7) business days before the affected camp session will receive a refund
of camp fees minus the non-refundable deposit. Any refunds requested after this time will require a medical certificate.
Financial Assistance: When applying for financial assistance a $10/camper/week deposit is required along with your completed registration form. With this deposit your camper’s spots will be held until a decision is made on your assistance request. If/when you have been approved you will be contact by our Subsidy Administrator. We encourage you to visit our Camping Services Registration Administration Office (2016 Dundas St) and to speak with our Subsidy Administrator directly. Strong Kids Fund
The YMCA of Western Ontario is committed to providing a camp experience to families regardless of ability to pay full fees. If you require financial assistance through our Strong Kids funds please complete an application form and submit along with your completed registration form.
Child Care Subsidy
Depending on availability
financial assistance is available through the City of London Child Care Subsidy, by visiting www.london.ca/childcare and printing/ completing an application form. You can request to receive subsidy for up to all nine weeks of camp. You will need to complete and submit your application and registration form to both the YMCA and City of London and MUST allow at least two weeks for processing.
Please note:Financial Assistance does not cover the full fees of our programs but is available to assist with those fees. The deposit fees, top up fees and any additional services (such as extended care or bussing) are the parents’ responsibility to pay. Once all paper work has been submitted and your approval made our subsidy administrator will work out final payment
arrangements with you. Fees are always required to be paid in FULL prior to your campers’ registration being processed. All fees must be paid by Wednesday at noon prior to the start of the upcoming camp week.
Behaviour Management
It is the goal of YMCA Day Camp to provide a safe and secure environment physically,
socially, and emotionally for all participants. Staff are trained in behaviour management
techniques to help all children belong. Guidelines are available in our Camp Information
Package which is available online and will be mailed to you after registration.
