Register for St.Thomas-Elgin
Family YMCA 2010 Day Camp!


We look forward to the upcoming summer, making
new friends and seeing all of those familiar faces
at camp once again. We have a variety of program options for new and experienced campers alike!

ONLINE: (Full Week Registrations ONLY) You
can process your registration through our online
system at www.ymcawo.ca/yonline

IN PERSON: Registration forms can be completed
and processed at Membership Services at the St.Thomas-Elgin Family YMCA.


Payment Options

Payment Option #1: Full payment of each camp is required at time of registration including any extra fees. You may pay by cash, cheques, Interac, MasterCard or Visa. We do not accept post-dated cheques.

Payment Option #2: Pre-authorized payment plan.
The first camp is paid in full plus a $20.00 deposit for each subsequent week of camp at the time of registration. The balance owing will be scheduled to be
paid by pre-authorized payments withdrawn from your bank account/credit card 14 days prior to each week of camp that your child is attending. If you plan to use
this option, you must bring a VOID cheque with you at time of registration.

-$50.00 is charged on any/all NSF payments or cheques.
-Extended care available 7:00-8:30am and 4:00-5:30pm.
-A. YMCA Financial Assistance: No child will be denied the opportunity to attend Summer Day Camp. Appointments are booked through Membership Services.
-B. Child Care Subsidy: Assessment cannot be completed without the following documents: Photo ID, Social Insurance Number, Birth Certificates, Health Cards,
Most recent Income Tax Return along with the Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment or Ontario Disability or Ontario Works Benefits Statements. If you

Please note: There will be an extra charge of $20 if not signed up for camp by the Friday prior at 4:00 pm.

The Camping Experience: Of all the experiences in a child’s life camp ranks among the most rewarding and
enduring. Camp teaches the meaning of friendship and the responsibility of community. Camp builds skills and self esteem. Simply put camp is an experience that can last a life time.

Registration Procedures: Camps fill quickly so register early. Only applications which are completed in full, signed and accompanied by the Registration and payment schedule form will be processed. A $25/week or $5/day non refundable deposit is included in the camp fees. You may pay by either pre-authorized debit or by Visa or MasterCard. The registration and payment
schedules form is located on the back of your child’s application form. Please fill one registration and payment schedule for each child you are registering. Registrations are taken on a first come first served basis.

Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations received in writing seven (7) days before the affected session will receive a
full refund less deposit. Refunds requested after this time will require a medical certificate.

NSF Payments: All NSF payments will be subject to a $50 service charge.

Confirmation Packages: Confirmation packages will be issued directly to those registering in person. All other
registrants will receive confirmation packages by mail within two weeks of registration.

Extended Care: The Extended Care Option offers supervised after camp care at each camp site from
7:00am-8:30am and 4:00pm-5:30pm. You can pick up your child any time within this time frame. Campers will participate in age appropriate activities while waiting for your arrival at the end of the day. For the safety of your child, please meet with a YMCA staff person to sign your child out at the end of the day.
