About GentilVandenabeele
• St. Thomas member for over 30 years
• Lifetime Membership
• Aquafit class was more social than exercise
• Came to the YMCA 7 days a week bragged that he did not shower at home
• Very active member of AA
• Called the staff and members on birthdays and played his bugle for them.

Our Existing Capital Deficit
• April, 2009 a building audit showed the following immediate priorities:
• Roof Replacement $ 212,000
• Pool Dehumidification $ 253,000
• Pool Mechanical System $ 115,000
• Pool Tile Repair and Replacement $ 40,000
=$ 620,000

Upgraded Pool
• New dehumidification, filtration and mechanical system
• Painted and retiled
• Skylights Added
• Larger Hot Tub replacing existing
• New Sauna

Renovations and Expansion
• Family Change room size doubled and renovated
• Boys and Girls change rooms fully renovated
• Fitness Centre 85% larger
• Larger and new Child Minding area
• Larger Multi Purpose Room
• Improved building systems
• Deficiencies from previous renovation cleaned up

• Funds Required $ 2,300,000
• Difference needed $ 200,000
• Capital Campaign required for the difference
