Bob Hayward YMCA: GROUP FITNESS

Group Fitness (14 years +)BHY


Cardio Blast
This energetic cardio class offers high/low impact options as they develop increased cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength. Instructor will suggest modifications of moves for participants of all fitness levels.

Group Cycling
Cardiovascular workout guiding you through a variety of intense levels. Water bottle & towel are recommended. Space is limited.

Total Body Conditioning (TBC)
A terrific way to improve your muscular strength and endurance is through the use of resistance training principles. A TBC class ensures all the major muscle groups receive an intense workout. Stability balls, body bars and a variety or resistance equipment such as hand weights, or tubing may be utilized during the class by the participants.

Yoga fitness
Increase your flexibility, release your tension and make the mind/body connection as you participate in a yoga fitness class. Using Yoga mats and relaxation music, participants will work through a multitude of yoga-based techniques and poses in a stress free environment.

Adult Specialty Program Descriptions



Ladies Day Out
An entire day filled with varied activities for women 18 and older. This program promotes fun, fitness and friendship. Ladies enjoy a morning with their choice of aquafit, badminton or other fitness activities and an afternoon of crafts, speakers and fellowship. Bring your lunch and join in!

Line Dancing
You can get in shape, learn some new dances and have fun dancing with your friends
