Employer Expectations:

All employees and volunteers accepted on staff at the YMCA of London will be required to complete a police records check (at their own expense) and forward those results to the YMCA. All information is kept confidential.
Employee Compensation:
Part-time and full time employees are compensated with salaries and wages that are competitive with other charitable organizations. Other forms of remuneration include:

-training
-opportunities for personal development
The YMCA of London also provides co-op placements for secondary and post-secondary students from a variety of fields to help them gain hands-on work experience and to help promote informed career choices.
Volunteer Statement:
The YMCA of London believes that the partnership between volunteers and staff is the cornerstone of the delivery of YMCA programs and that people need to be provided with the opportunity and encouragement to contribute to improving community life.
Code of Ethics:
The YMCA of London encourages all volunteers and staff to participate voluntarily in the charitable activities that promote the work of the Y. We also ask our staff and volunteers to consider themselves YMCA ambassadors both on and off the job and to refrain from any activity during time off that would reflect negatively on the YMCA.
