Federal Public Sector Youth Internship
Program (FPSYIP)

The Youth Internship Program delivered by the YMCA of Western Ontario breaks the “no experience, no job/no job, no experience” cycle. This program provides young Canadians with an opportunity to get experience and develop skills that will prepare them for the labour market. It places interns in host federal government departments,
agencies and Crown corporations. Internships are open to young people
aged 15-30 who are no longer in school full-time, and who are currently
unemployed or underemployed. The YMCA of Western Ontario is responsible for
the delivery of this program in London, Windsor and the surrounding areas.

This program is funded by Service Canada.
