LINC ENGLISH CLASSES

This program is for adult immigrants, convention refugees, and permanent residents who have not yet recieved Canadian Citizenship from Citizenship & Immigration Canada.

LINC teaches English as a second language to newcomers with information to access employment, education and community services.

The YMCA Learning Centre offers all LINC Levels from Literacy to LINC 7 at various sites in London, Ontario.

We offer:

• Instruction in speaking, listening, reading, writing, job search,
pronunciation and grammar;

• Computer labs at Galleria London (250 York St.), Hensim Centre (Oxford & Wonderland),
and Glen Cairn Community Centre; (150 King Edward Ave.)

• All classes have continuous registration;

• Limited free child minding available for parents while attending class;

• Limited free bus tickets available to qualified students.

Information & Registration:

• Students must be landed immigrants or convention refugees,
may not be a Canadian Citizen.

• All students must be assessed at the LINC Assessment Centre
(with the exception of evening classes) at the Cross Cultural
Learner Centre, 505 Dundas Street, London, Ontario.
