Spark Together for Healthy Kids
The YMCA of Western Ontario is in full support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario’s campaign, “Spark Together for Healthy Kids” that addresses childhood obesity. It is well known that one of the most important health issues threatening Ontarians is the alarming rise in the number of overweight and obese children in the province. This is an imminent and preventable health crisis. Spark Together for Health Kids is a core commitment of the Heart and Stroke Foundation and is a multi-layered initiative that aims to generate public awareness of the tremendous societal impact of this issue.
